About Hopcorn

A popcorn catching game with a little movie-theater chaos

Hopcorn is a free arcade game set at a movie-theater snack bar. Move your tub around the machine to catch white popcorn as it falls. Golden kernels are hazards, so quick movement matters as much as a good catch.

How to play Hopcorn

  1. Start a batch and move the tub beneath falling white popcorn.
  2. Keep catching to build your streak. Missed popcorn breaks the streak.
  3. Survive each 90-second batch and continue to the next. Three caught golden kernels end the run.

Controls

Move the tub with your mouse or the arrow keys / WASD. On touchscreens, drag below the tub so your finger leaves the action visible. Use Pause to stop between catches.

Tips for your next round

  • Track downward-moving popcorn rather than chasing every piece as it pops upward.
  • Leave space to dodge a golden kernel, even when a tempting catch is close by.
  • A steady streak can be more useful than a frantic trip across the whole machine.
